The 2013 RDX has received the highest possible safety ration of
TOP SAFETY PICK from the insurance Institute for Highway Safety
(IIHS). The IIHS award recognizes vehicles that do the best job of protecting
vehicle occupants involved in front, side and rear crashes, plus rollover
performance based on rating in the Institute's tests.

STYLE
The 2013 RDX significantly ups the
game with its all new looks, increased comfort and new technology. Inside the
RDX, occupants will appreciate a new interior design with increased utility,
rich interior materials and generous use of noise insulation. The exterior
incorporates a sleek body and chassis updates abound in the form of a longer
wheelbase with increased track.
SPEED
The RDX will now be powered by a
V-6 engine, producing 33 more
horsepower than the outgoing model a new 6-speed automatic transmission and a new
all-wheel-drive system.
Acura announced today that it will unveil three all-new vehicles at the 2012 North American International Auto Show including an all-new compact sports sedan, a redesigned RDX crossover sport utility vehicle, and a concept version of the next generation Acura NSX super car.
The Acura ILX Concept is a styling study of an all-new luxury compact sedan scheduled for launch in Spring 2012. To be positioned at the gateway to the Acura lineup, the ILX will feature three powertrains including Acura's first-ever gas-electric hybrid. Acura also will unveil a prototype of the 2013 RDX, the second generation of Acura's five-passenger SUV. Finally, Acura will debut the NSX Concept, which represents the styling direction for the next generation of Acura's super sports car.

All three vehicles will be introduced at the North America International Auto Show on January 9, 2012
